In the year 1956 he came to Kolkata from Ludhiana.
He joined an Electrical and Motor winding shop without any wages; to become an Electrician.
He started liking the work and applied for Electrical Supervisor license.
After getting his license he started his own company.
He came to Durgapur in the year 1958 and executed first electrical wiring job of Durgapur Steel Plant Township and settled here since then.
He is a man who started small, dreamt big; used the combination of honesty and hard work which took the company to an ultimate height and satisfying clients along with customers since then.
Being a pioneer, he has seen so many changes since the beginning till now. His word of wisdom is that 'Time has changed a lot but commitment towards the quality of work has remained same in the Company'.
He is one of the renowned personalities since the inception of Durgapur. He has been involved into different social work since many years. He served as a Past President of Guru Tegh Bahadur Public School, Durgapur and currently serving as the Trust Chairman of the School. He was also Past President of BAI (Builders Association of India), Durgapur Chapter and was Past President of Lions Club of Durgapur & also the member of Melvin Jones Fellowship, awarded by the International Lions Club.
