Being the alumni of Vikas Vidyalaya, Ranchi boarding school he had the great sense of discipline and responsibility.
Before joining the company he completed his B.Com (Honours) in 1984 from Calcutta University.

He has been consistently demonstrating his vision by guiding the company in its leadership status; also expanding its footprint to nearby states.
Since, last 33 years he has been successfully championing growth by acting as the backbone of the company.
His dedication towards the work has been brilliant and solving queries, doubts and overcoming obstacles efficiently are few of his traits.

Being the partner of the company, he is involved in many social activities.

He is an active member of the Builders' Association of India since 1990.
He served twice as the Chairman of Durgapur BAI Centre during the years 2000– 2002.
He was the State Chairman, Builders' Association of India (East), for two consecutive years from 2003 to 2005.
He has served as the National Vice President of Builders' Association of India in the year 2018 to 2019 and has been awarded the Best National Vice President of Builders' Association of India, by The Governor of Meghalaya at Kolkata.

He is also associated with Lions Club of Durgapur since 1986 and became the President for two consecutive years i.e. 1990 – 1992.

He is also the member of Melvin Jones Fellowship, awarded by the International Lions Club.
He is also the Trustee Member of Lions Club of Durgapur Welfare Trust since its inception and working as a Chairman of the Trust since 2015, who is running an Eye Hospital at Durgapur, sincerely working for the downtrodden people and others.
He has also served with Durgapur Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of Rotary Club, Durgapur.
